Evidence.com is a cloud-based database sold by Axon Enterprise Inc. for the digital storage and management of what it refers to as “evidence” in the form of videos and photos captured by police.
The database and platform may also be referred to as Axon Evidence, and these types of systems are also referred to more broadly as “DEMS” - Digital Evidence Management Systems.
Evidence.com was originally developed to allow Axon users to easily upload, store, view, and control access to digital video footage and images captured by its Body Worn Video (BWV), but it has since expanded to be a database for other forms of data uploaded by police.
Features of Evidence.com include the automated tagging of videos and images with date, time, location, and case or incident number; as well as the ability to redact information or images that police do not want included.
Evidence.com also contains the audio files from BWV, which are being used by the company to advertise additional products and services, including Draft One, a 2024 product which uses BWV audio to “generate high-quality reports” for police to submit, instead of writing the reports themselves.

The Evidence.com database connects not only to police surveillance and information capture devices, from which it obtains data, but it connects to police Records Management System (RMS) and other databases, to link information in those databases with videos and other data uploaded to Evidence.com.
Data uploaded to Evidence.com is obtained through the following devices and technologies (a non-exhaustive list):
