Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPRs) are high-speed cameras paired with software for detecting and analyzing license plates.
The devices are also known internationally as Automatic Number Plate Readers or Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), or "LPR" (License Plate Reader).
