Fusus is a U.S. company based in Georgia that developed technology that allows its customers to integrate or “fuse together” private and public video camera systems into one video feed that could be streamed to a central location or a mobile phone. Building on that technology, Fusus also created what has become its central product offering - an integrated technology platform for Real Time Crime Center (RTCC)s.
So, Fusus is a company and also a technology system and platform - if we are answering the question, “What is Fusus?” in terms of its technology, Fusus is a platform that allows police to link the video feeds from private and public video camera networks, and stream them back to one “unifying” feed for viewing, most often in a police command center, Real-Time Crime Center, or even to a mobile phone. In addition to the video feeds, Fusus facilitates the integration of other sources of surveillance and police data - including so-called Gunshot detection systems, “Predictive Policing” technology (including Geolitica, formerly Predpol), and Talitrax electronic monitoring systems.
The video-linking technology is called FususCORE, and consists of hardware (to physically connect to the camera network) and software (to detect and configure the camera streams), to create one “unified feed,” which is then streamed to the user’s web-based FususONE account.

The FususCORE hardware connects to a video camera to provide police access to the video feed.
Regarding FususCORE, the company claims it can “be dropped onto any network in any building, anywhere in a city,” though they also claim this can only be done with consent from that network’s operator.
Regarding what has also been referred to as the Fusus Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) Platform, RTC3, or Unified Awareness Platform, today the Fusus RTCC platform is called FususONE, a “unified single platform” that claims to “unify all real-time video and data sources.”
