Peregrine is a software platform developed for first responders that integrates select data sources, with the purpose of making them more easily searchable, and with the goal of funneling or overlaying data into a “single view” or “single pane of glass” for viewing and assessment. It was created by Peregrine Technologies, Inc. and designed specifically for use with Real Time Crime Center (RTCC)s.

A major selling point of the technology appears to be its “universal search” tool, which the company touts as helping police to “ask questions - get answers - make decisions.”
